Magenta Lilly Pilly

This mid-sized tree grows well in most of the populated areas of Australia and is both attractive and productive. The Magenta Lilly Pilly can have an abundance of bright, tart and fragrant fruit. The fruit is 1 to 2cm in size and grows in clumps, like cherries, and is immensely attractive to birds.

At Reedy Creek Nursery, Magenta Lilly Pilly is grown in orchards, co-planted with Lemon Myrtle, Lemon Aspen and Riberry. The organic mandate and clean rural conditions guarantee a quality crop of Lilly Pilly is available fresh June to July and frozen the rest of the year.

Uses: The profuse bright magenta fruit make delightful cordial and desserts. Also a natural colour additive for a light sauce.

Similar to: Crab Apple flavour, with an easily removed seed.

Season: Winter

Supplied: Fresh in June and July, frozen year round
